Fiona J Ferguson

Fiona was a researcher on WP3, developing a smartphone app which records people’s interactions with urban nature. Her interest lies in exploring and understanding nature connection, ways to improve it, and the subsequent effects on wellbeing.

For 10 years, Fiona has been Senior Leader and Project Manager on Dunoon Grammar School’s annual expeditions to Costa Rica. She takes groups of local high school pupils to carry out various conservation projects and physical challenges in areas of incredible natural beauty. She enjoys seeing the positive effect these experiences have on individuals’ wellbeing.
