Jake Robinson

Students

Jake was awarded the ESRC White Rose Doctoral Scholarship, and joined the Department of Landscape as an interdisciplinary PhD student. He combined social science with ecology and remote sensing to investigate the viability of green prescriptions.

Understanding the mechanisms by which green prescriptions are made and addressing potential constraints and opportunities were some of his key research objectives. Jake worked alongside the Sheffield and Rotherham Wildlife Trust, who supported this project in line with their socio-environmental goals.

Jake has worked as an ecological consultant for over six years and has been involved with several research projects relating to ecology, epidemiology, and sustainable community development.
